Leadville Ski Joring

Leadville Ski Joring is an annual extreme sporting event held in the heart of the Rocky Mountains drawing thousands of spectators yearly. This action-filled event has horses pulling skiers down Historic Harrison Ave (Leadville's Main Street), hitting obstacles to make the fastest time. 

As the Media Coordinator, I serve on the board, assisting with everything digital, marking, and media. I also help grow the event into a digital landscape, connect and coordinate with media, assist and develop production strategies, and do anything else that may need to be done. My job starts months before the event begins and ends weeks after. 

Through this position, I have developed my PR & Communication, project management, marketing & media design, and so much more. I have been able to use this platform to test strategies and ultimately succeed.
